Lincoln County Democrats

Enjoyed the hospitality of Lincoln County Democrats last night at their monthly meeting at Gar Wooly's in Davenport. These folks are interested in local, state, and national issues and are poised to mobilize Democrats, Independents and those disaffected Republicans who have "had enough" of the ugly politics of Karl Rove and Todd Hiett.

Lincoln is the home county of Rep. Danny Morgan whose red and white campaign signs are most prominent. Morgan is the House Democratic Leader, replacing term-limited Rep. Jari Askins who is running for Lt. Governor.

Rep. Ryan Kiesel also represents one precinct of the county.

Congressional District 3 Democratic nominee Sue Barton has captured the support of these folks in Lincoln County partly due to her attention to them. Wonder when that other guy, you know, Lucas, was last in Davenport?

Lincoln County Chair Tony Perna
announced the group will have a Democratic Party HQ opening in Chandler soon.

CD 3 Secretary Shirley Robertson and the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women's Debbie Thompson are both Lincoln County residents and were at the meeting. They are a lot of fun and they know everyone.
