Nothing Positive From Republicans
On am 1000 KTOK's "Mullins in the Morning" program every Monday at 7:35 a.m., I debate former GOP State Representative Doug Miller. Today as I expected the topic was the DNC winter meeting that showcased our Presidential candidates, and as usual most of the angst on the other side was about Hillary. I don't know what scares the other side more-that she is a Clinton or that she is a woman! Most of their concerns were on wartime issues. But I even managed to get the host of the show to agree that what we are doing in in Iraq isn't working, and it is time after all these years for the Iraqi people to start solving their own problems. I note that their seems to be little pride, enthusiasm, or positive energy on the other side of the aisle when we discuss their slate of candidates...for good reason. One other note-yes, we had prayer leaders from several different religions at the meeting, and not just Christians. We are an inclusive party, and at every level we try to reach out and make everyone feel welcome. It is the right thing to do, and I am always proud of our efforts to let everyone get to share in the American process!
