Renewable Energy

Democrats are expected to make renewable energy a priority in the new Congress by rolling back billions of dollars worth of drilling incentives and raising royalties on offshore oil and gas production then making heavy investments in renewable energy. In November I participated in a Leadership Oklahoma program in Stillwater that featured Oklahoma's energy industry including presentations from oil and gas, geothermal, and biofuels professionals. If you still haven't seen Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" do it soon. Energy production is critical to Oklahoma's economic development and will continue to be at the top of the state and federal political agenda.
