Democratic Legislators Convene on Capitol for Organization Day

Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Lisa Pryor’s statement on the January 2, 2007 Constitutional Organization Day:

“Congratulations to Democratic legislators who today started our Centennial year by organizing and creating an agenda that will truly serve working Oklahoma families,” Pryor said. “A special congratulations to Senator Mike Morgan for again being elected Senate President Pro Tempore. Senator Morgan and the Democratic Caucuses in the Senate and House of Representatives are eager to begin work on February 5th. During this historic year and this upcoming legislative session, there is a real opportunity to better the lives of our state’s citizens.
