A BUSY WEEK
This should be a week full of chances to persuade voters to "stamp the Rooster" this fall. My Monday 7:35 am radio debate on KTOK went well-this time the GOP brought in Senator Glen Coffee to offer their side. He pointed out he was one of my students at Boys State years ago, and I said yes, our relationship was like the one in "Star Wars" between Obi-wan and Annakin Skywalker (Darth Vader for the one or two people not familiar with the last three movies)...later in the week there will be the Governor's gala, Jazz in June, county meetings, and of course lots of phone calls delivering our message. Lisa Pryor and I will probably split up the events to cover the most turf, but hopefully I will see some of our faithful readers on the trail...

Speaking of Obi Wan....I like to use the acronym of F O R C E to simply describe what Democrats stand for -- Freedom, Opportunity, Responsibility, Community, Equality -- and in 2006 the Democrats are a force to be reckoned with...one that the Repubs won't like.
Ben, Lisa,
Perhaps you (meaning the party) could create a list of events Democrats can attend in their communities. You could also give some tips on how we can get out the Democratic message at these events.
