Hope you saw Hal Spake on Flashpoint this morning. Hal has an impressive resume of public service and broad experience in the military and as a US diplomat. Experience under fire that would serve us well in the House of Representatives during these troubling times. His call for bravery rather than bravado is right on point. His mild-mannered speech and measured answers are a reflection of a lifetime of service using diplomacy rather than a career made of political slogans and one upmanship strategies. Voters in the 4th Congressional District have the opportunity to say no to "stay the course", to say no to "business as usual" and say no to the failed administration of the Republicans in Congress and the White House.
